Sins of the Mother

This piece examines alcoholism and its insidious infection in an Irish American family.
Two maiden daughters are trapped at home with their alcoholic mother where Irish born bitterness and resentment
replace love and understanding. Inheritors of their grandmothers sin the two daughters seek their redemption.


Fallen Petals

Fallen Petals was developed from "Sins of the Mother."  In this setting we see the destructive influence of alcoholism in an African American family of women.
Notes from around the world.

Sins of the Mother has been produced from Dublin to Cairo and from Australia to Sri Lanka.  It has also been translated into Urdu for a Muslim Indian audience.
